The Veteran Education to Workforce Affinity and Success Study (VETWAYS) is a three year National Science Foundation-funded research study focused on a growing and increasingly important segment of the college student population: U.S. military service members and veterans.

Mission

Focused on service member and veteran students across five Wisconsin universities, our primary goal is to increase understanding of how the social and career trajectories of these talented and capable students connect. Findings will not only inform broader efforts to overcome challenges student service members and veterans face in college, but also help college and university leaders better serve future professionals from highly skilled yet under-supported populations.
